Last month, the results of a Delphi study on core requirements of frailty screening in the emergency department was published in Age and Ageing. Although consensus was reached on various aspects, more research is needed to establish optimal frailty screening in the emergency department. We participated in the Delphi panel, and the study was conducted by scholars from Mercy University Hospital, University College Cork, Ireland.
